The Supervisor Apprenticeship deepens internal capacity by guiding therapists through consultation, training, and real-world leadership responsibilities. Both programs include continuous oversight: FFT-G through focused implementation strategies that adapt to local gang dynamics, and the Apprenticeship Program through year-long mentorship, monitoring records, and phased transition planning for supervisory readiness.   Each program is developed with clear metrics for success—FFT-G demonstrates crime reduction and cost-efficiency in real-world studies, while the Apprenticeship pathway supports high-fidelity FFT delivery through leadership continuity and staff motivation. ## Add-On Program Overview --- ### FFT-Gangs (FFT-G®) FFT-G® is an evidence-informed extension of Functional Family Therapy, tailored to serve youth who are actively involved in gangs or at high risk of becoming so. Rooted in FFT’s proven methodology, FFT-G integrates strategies focused on community and peer dynamics, criminal behavior patterns, local gang characteristics. This program builds the capacity of existing FFT sites to deliver gang-specific prevention and intervention without requiring additional core FFT retraining.
